When One Piece met Gucci

When the worlds of One Piece and Gucci collided, it was a meeting of creativity and style. For their 2020 Fall/Winter collection, dubbed Fake/Not, Gucci sought out the visionary mind behind One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, for a unique collaboration.

The Italian fashion house envisioned the iconic straw hat crew adorned in their latest designs, and Oda enthusiastically embraced the idea. He crafted stunning illustrations of Luffy and Zoro, which were being featured in ELLEMEN China.

It is definitely not the first time Gucci explores collaborations with manga and anime creators. From Doraemon to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Gucci has been embracing manga/anime’s shift into fashion for over a decade.

Only one question remains when looking at this One Piece x Gucci collab: where the hell is Sanji?
