Born and raised in Milan, Italy, he sets his sights on expanding his horizons making the whole world his source of inspiration.

As a former photojournalist, Mattia understands the power of visual storytelling and he currently has transitioned to the role of photo editor and writer.

He believes that art in all its forms has the power to connect people and communities and break down barriers initiating conversations.

Mattia is deeply interested in telling stories that can bring out lesser-known sides of our world, and after a trip to Japan in the summer of 2023, he is intent on directing his gaze and writing toward Japanese subcultures.
